Food N Love

Food N Love is a food pantry program, a true labor of love that feeds more than 200 families each month. CDC staff and dedicated community volunteers gather to prepare bags of groceries for needy families, seniors, and the homeless population within the city of San Bernardino. What makes this program different is that we talk to and intentionally connect with those we serve as a way to build report with community members. What better way to rebuild the strength of San Bernardino than through relationships.

Over 219,000 people call San Bernardino home. A community is only as strong as the citizens connected to it and their ability to live healthy and self-sustained lives. To that end we provide the following trainings that build people and their ability to have positive producing successful lives. 1) Personal Enrichment Program aka P.E.P. Modules, (2) Personal and Business Financial Literacy 3) Entrepreneur Training & support and 4) The E.Q. Program which is a Credit Repair & Homebuyers Service.

We are creating businesses which will make available jobs to San Bernardino residents and pour back into the CDC Vision. In development are 1) The Beauty and Barber shop which will provide services not only to paying clients but also to students, job-seekers and seniors that have a need, 2) A Security Company, 3) A Foster Family Agency, and in 2019 we endeavor to launch a Community Garden, a partnering effort for schools and community volunteers and a Farmers Market. Other community investment activities include business development services geared towards building, supporting and launching entrepreneurs.
