FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The KC stands for “Kingdom Culture.” Originally the CDC started as a natural progression and outgrowth of the church started by Sherman and Dr. Jaquet Dumas called Kingdom Culture Worship Center. But in 2017 the KC-CDC became a separate entity and 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Organization. In order to create our own identity and become established as a community development agency we shorten Kingdom Culture to “KC.” But our organizational culture remains driven by the conviction to change the world through our moral code which is shaped by the Gospel of Peace.

Although the KC-CDC partners with several religious organizations in our community, we are not a church. At one time the KC-CDC was a part of Kingdom Culture Worship Center (Now All Nation’s Worship Assembly aka ANWA). In July 2017 we became our own Non-Profit community service agency. Our focus is on serving the needs of all people regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, religious affiliation, sexual orientation or age. We each have a role to play in making San Bernardino a better place to work and live.

ANWA stands for All Nations Worship Assembly. It is the name of the church that was previously named Kingdom Culture Worship Center our former parent company. It is an amazing place to find community, friendships and new relationships. They build leaders, help start businesses and serve communities.
